Is your HVAC system freezing up?
On these hot days when your air may not be as cool as normal. This could mean your system is freezing.
A few problems that can cause this are:
- Dirty filters
- Improper air flow
- Low freon
To start the thawing process, turn your system off, turn on the fan and let it run for at least 2 hours.
In the meantime, check your filters to make sure they are clean. If you change your filters and the system continues to freeze, you are possibly low on freon. At this point begin the thawing process again and contact one of our trained service technicians.
